How to Navigate the Settings Panel

The settings section allows you to change the vital elements of the Tidio Chat back-end. Here you will find information on how to edit your chat settings, manage operators, check into your account, and a lot more.

In the ‘settings’ panel you can find the following sections:

Preferences

This section allows you to change your project’s URL, enable periodic reports (daily, every 3 days, weekly, monthly), set your email notifications and clear previously banned visitors. You can delete the chat project here as well.

Account 

Here you can review and modify your billing info, change the region, or edit your login details (email, password).

PRO TIP: If you would like to change your time zone – simply change the region that will be applicable to your location.

Another important sub-section here is the Subscriptions & Billing section where you can find the information about your paid plans (if subscribed). You can also download your invoices from here.

Operators

Here, you can deactivate, delete or add new operators. To learn a bit more about this, check out or Managing Operators article.

Integrations

Connect your Tidio account with several third-party CRM, email marketing, and e-commerce apps. Find more information about our current integrations!

Notifications

Change the sound notifications for new incoming visitors, new chat requests, and new messages. Add and modify the timeframes for your Do Not Disturb schedule. If you would like to receive the notifications about new, incoming chats to your email address – enable the ‘Send email notifications’ option.

Quick Responses

Prepare short messages, links or answers, and use them during the conversation by using the “/” command. We have also another article which explains how quick responses work a bit deeper.

Tracking

Trace the actions of your visitors and collect the data of your visitors’ movements on your website. You can find a bit more about it in our article about Tracking.

Desktop & Mobile

Download the apps for desktop and mobile for all common systems to be able to answer to your client’s inquiries faster. You can also check out our knowledge base articles to learn more about the desktop app and the mobile app. installation.

Data Export

An option that allows you to generate a CSV file with the data of visitors you have collected. You can also generate it in the Contacts tab.

Developer

Here, you can find out more about your chat project and modify your chat with the Tidio API. You will also find here your Public and Private Key about which we can ask you during our support.
