Why can’t I edit my subscription?

You might have stumbled upon a payment error in your Tidio Chat panel saying that you cannot edit your subscription; this is because you are not its owner.

This is a safety measure ensuring that you won’t end up with a duplicate subscription on your account if one of the operators has already purchased a subscription. Your account can be upgraded by any of the operators, so being an account owner does not necessarily mean that you own a particular subscription as well.

If the account owner tries to delete the operator who purchased a subscription, they will get an error saying: “Sorry, you cannot remove an operator who is the subscription owner.” If you wish to delete such an operator, you will need to log in with their credentials, cancel the subscription under Settings > Account, and re-subscribe as another operator.
