What you can do with Tidio and Zoom

Move to a call without leaving the chat

A complicated setup problem gets a Zoom meeting created in the conversation, with the link sent straight to the person asking.

Book the demo while they are interested

A sales chat can create the Zoom meeting and confirm the time, so the request does not turn into an email thread about calendars.

Follow up on no shows

When Zoom reports nobody joined, the conversation reopens with a message offering another time rather than the lead going quiet.

Work webinar registrations

Registrations from a Zoom webinar can open conversations, so the questions people ask when they sign up actually get answered.

Overview

Some questions are faster on a call, and Zoom is where that call happens. Connect Zoom and Tidio with Zapier, Make or the Tidio API and an agent can create a Zoom meeting from the conversation, send the joining link in the chat and see afterwards whether the person turned up. Webinar registrations can also come in as chats to follow up.

Key features

  • Meetings booked from chat A Zoom meeting is created inside the conversation.
  • Joining link in the thread The Zoom link is sent where the customer already is.
  • Attendance visible Agents see whether the Zoom meeting was attended.
  • Recordings linked The chat can carry a link to the Zoom recording.

How it works

Connect Zoom in minutes

  1. 1

Connect Zoom and Tidio with Zapier or the Tidio API

The Zoom API creates meetings and reports participants. Authorize it in your automation tool, or run the calls from a service you host.

  2. 2

Create the meeting on the right host

Map the agent to a Zoom user so the meeting belongs to whoever will run it, and the joining link is not tied to a shared account.

  3. 3

    Read attendance after the fact

Pull the Zoom participant report when the meeting ends and write the outcome onto the conversation, so follow up is based on what happened.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the Zoom integration

Can the visitor pick a time in the chat?

You need a scheduling step. Either offer the agent's next free slots from the calendar, or send a booking link and create the Zoom meeting once the slot is taken.

Should recordings be shared in the chat?

Only with consent and only when the recording is theirs. Send a Zoom link with access controls rather than a file, and never share a recording containing another customer.

What about time zones?

Confirm the time in the visitor's zone in the chat, and store it in a single zone on your side. Most no shows for a Zoom meeting booked in chat are a time zone mistake.

Is the Zoom integration available on my plan?

Availability depends on the Tidio plan you are on. Compare plans to see which plan covers the Zoom integration.
