What you can do with Tidio and Microsoft Intune

Answer device questions faster

Compliance and patch state from Microsoft Intune replaces the first five questions on every IT chat.

Explain a blocked sign-in

A device out of compliance is often the reason, and the desk can say so instead of guessing.

Escalate with the device known

A ticket carrying the Microsoft Intune device record does not bounce back for detail.

Support new device setup

Enrollment status tells the desk how far a new starter got on their own.

Overview

Microsoft Intune knows the device: whether it is enrolled, compliant, patched, and which apps it has. Internal IT chats are full of questions that come down to exactly that. Reading Microsoft Intune into Tidio means the person on the desk sees the device state before asking the usual five questions, and can escalate with the device already identified. Wipes, policies and enrollment stay with the admins who own them.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the Microsoft Intune integration

Should a wipe ever be triggered from chat?

No. A remote wipe destroys data and cannot be undone by the person who asked for it. Keep it in Microsoft Intune behind the approval it already has. What chat can usefully do is capture the request, confirm identity, and hand it to the team that carries it out.

How does the desk know which device it is?

By the person, then the device list. Look the employee up, show their enrolled devices, and let the desk pick the one being discussed. Matching on a device name typed by a user is unreliable, and the wrong device state is worse than none at all.

Is the Microsoft Intune integration available on my plan?

Availability depends on the Tidio plan you are on. Compare plans to see which plan covers the Microsoft Intune integration.
