Use cases

What you can do with Tidio and OneLogin

Answer why an app will not open

OneLogin app assignment tells the desk whether this is access or a real fault.

Explain a permission difference

Role membership shows why two colleagues see different things.

Look into failed logins

OneLogin login events turn a vague complaint into a specific cause.

Escalate access requests

A request captured in chat carries the account and the role it needs.

Overview

OneLogin holds the roles, the app assignments and the login history. Most access tickets are one of two questions: why can I not open this app, and why does my colleague have something I do not. Both are answered by reading OneLogin. Putting that in Tidio lets the desk resolve them in the conversation and escalate the rest with the account already identified. Provisioning and role changes stay in OneLogin.

Key features

  • Roles and apps in the chat See what OneLogin has assigned to this person.
  • Login history in view A pattern of failed attempts explains a lot of tickets.
  • Account state Enabled, disabled or locked, without asking IT.
  • Changes stay in OneLogin Roles and provisioning are edited there.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the OneLogin integration

Can the desk grant access from a chat?

It is technically possible and usually a bad idea. Granting a role affects more than one app and rarely has a single owner. Capture the request in the conversation with the OneLogin account and role attached, and let the approval happen where it is recorded.

How is the employee identified?

By the identity they are already signed in with, if the chat sits behind your own login. Otherwise the desk has to verify them before showing anything, because OneLogin account detail is exactly what somebody impersonating a colleague would want.

Is the OneLogin integration available on my plan?

Availability depends on the Tidio plan you are on. Compare plans to see which plan covers the OneLogin integration.
