What you can do with Tidio and Notion

Answer from internal docs

An agent searches Notion during the conversation instead of asking in a team channel.

Log a known issue

A new problem becomes a Notion entry, so the second person to hear it has an answer.

Follow the runbook

The Notion steps for a refund or an escalation are in front of the agent.

Keep the onboarding page current

What customers actually ask feeds the page new agents read.

Overview

Notion is where the internal answer usually lives: the runbook, the policy, the table of known issues. Agents either know that or they guess. Connecting Notion to Tidio lets them search the workspace from the conversation and send the paragraph that answers the question, and lets a new answer be written back as a database entry so the next person finds it. Notion stays the workspace. The chat reads and appends.

Key features

  • Search the workspace from chat Find the Notion page that answers the question.
  • Send the useful paragraph Share the part that matters, not the whole page.
  • Write answers back A new answer becomes a Notion database entry.
  • Notion stays the workspace Pages, permissions and structure are unchanged.

How it works

Connect Notion in minutes

  1. 1

    Connect Notion and Tidio

Zapier, Integrately or Make links the two, or a service searches Notion and posts to the Tidio API.

  2. 2

    Pick the databases

Point the search at the pages support should use, not the whole workspace.

  3. 3

    Append, do not restructure

New entries land in one Notion database with a fixed shape, so it stays readable.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the Notion integration

Should the whole workspace be searchable?

No. Point the search at a support database and the pages that belong to it. A Notion workspace also contains salary discussions, half-finished strategy and meeting notes, and an agent searching under time pressure should not be able to surface any of it.

Is Notion a good help center?

For internal answers, yes. For customer-facing content it depends on how disciplined the workspace is, because a page anyone can edit will drift. Many teams keep Notion as the internal source and publish the customer version somewhere with review.

Is the Notion integration available on my plan?

Availability depends on the Tidio plan you are on. Compare plans to see which plan covers the Notion integration.
