Common questions about the Widen integration
Is Widen the same as Acquia DAM?
Widen Collective was acquired by Acquia and is sold as Acquia DAM, formerly Widen. The APIs carried over, so integrations written against Widen keep working under the new name.
Should agents be able to search the whole library?
No. Scope it to cleared collections. Full library access in a support tool eventually means an unreleased campaign asset reaches somebody outside the company.
Does sharing from chat break download reporting?
Not if you send Widen links. The download is still recorded against the asset, so reporting sees chat as another distribution channel.
Is the Widen integration available on my plan?
