How does the free trial work?
During the free 7-day trial, you can test all Tidio features and see how you can improve your customer service and accelerate your sales. You don’t need to provide us with your credit card information to access the free trial. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically be downgraded to the Free plan unless you upgrade your subscription to a paid option.
Can I change my subscription anytime I want?
Yes, you can. You can downgrade or upgrade your subscription at any time. Please note that any subscription changes will come into effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Can I subscribe to more than one plan?
Absolutely. Our plans are designed to complement each other, so you can mix and match to create a solution tailored to your business needs. For example, you can combine a Customer Service plan with the Chatbots and Lyro AI plans to create an AI customer service solution that solves most customer problems without human intervention, freeing your live support agents to handle difficult requests. You can combine two or more plans in your Tidio panel after you create an account and your free trial is over.
What is Lyro?
Lyro is an AI customer support agent. It turns customer questions into conversations and delivers personalized replies, just like a human agent. Unlike chatbots that follow set rules and pathways to generate an answer, Lyro relies on machine learning to understand customer questions and draws information from your support content to create detailed responses.
What is a Lyro conversation?
A Lyro conversation is a customer interaction that has at least one reply from our AI support agent. Even if Lyro replies a dozen times or more to solve the customer’s problem, or if the customer leaves the chat window and returns to it at a later time, that still counts as a single conversation.
When will my Lyro conversation limit refresh?
Every Tidio account starts with 50 Lyro conversations, but you need to upgrade to the Lyro AI plan to refresh it. You can access higher Lyro conversation limits with the Lyro AI and Tidio+ plans. If you’re using the Lyro AI or Tidio+ plans, your limit refreshes 30 days from the moment you made the payment.
Can I use Lyro on any website?
Lyro is available for most websites. However, you won’t be able to use Lyro if your website focuses on:
Weapons and military
Misinformation and fake news
Healthcare and medical advice
Gambling and betting
Finance related (finance consulting, broker, exchanges etc)

What happens if Lyro can’t answer a question?
Lyro automatically hands over the conversation to one of your support agents when it can’t answer a customer question. Your support team can see Lyro’s chats, so they can pick the conversation up from where the AI left it, providing a smooth customer experience.
Are you using ChatGPT to power Lyro?
No, we are not. We use Claude (Anthropic AI) and our in-house models to power Lyro. We use Claude because this Large Language Model (LLM) has been developed with the goal of becoming helpful, honest, and harmless - making it the most trustworthy LLM on the market.
How can Lyro answer customer questions without any training and with one-click activation?
Lyro automatically scrapes your support content and uses it as its knowledge base. If the required information is part of your support content, Lyro will answer the customer’s question. If the answer is not part of your support content, Lyro will automatically forward the question to a human agent.
Does the Lyro plan allow using chatbots?
No. But you can use chatbots alongside Lyro by combining the Lyro AI plan with a Chatbots plan. With the Chatbots plans, you can add chatbot templates to your website or manually create as many automated workflows as you want with our drag-and-drop chatbot builder. Although your chatbots can have an unlimited number of chats, the Free Chatbots plan limits them to interact with only 100 unique visitors per month. However, you can interact with up to 40k visitors per month with our paid Chatbots plan and a custom number of visitors with Tidio+.
Can I send live chat messages?
Yes. You can send live chat messages by combining an Lyro AI Agent plan with a Customer Service plan. Customer Service plans enable you to exchange messages with your website visitors through the live chat widget.
Can I create email campaigns?
Yes. You can create email campaigns by combining the Lyro AI plan with an Email marketing plan. The Free Email Marketing plan allows you to send up to 500 emails per month for free. However, you can send up to 20,000 emails per month with our paid Email Marketing plan and a custom number of monthly emails with Tidio+.
